THE ESSENTIALS

Before you start

  • A PC running 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, with ATS, ETS2, or both installed.
  • A Truck Sim Hub account: sign in with Steam and choose your own driver name when prompted.
  • Install the tracker on the PC where you play. You can open the Hub website on another device.
  • Close your game before installing its telemetry plugin. Use borderless or windowed gameplay for the overlay.

Current download: 0.2.2 · unsigned early access. Publisher signing is not yet available. If your antivirus blocks a file, leave protection enabled and see Antivirus blocks the download or app.

Install the tracker

  1. Open Download and Connect Your Tracker and choose Download Windows installer.
  2. Run TruckSimHubTracker-Setup.exe. Follow the setup screens; a desktop shortcut is optional.
  3. Open Truck Sim Hub Tracker from your Start menu.

It installs for your current Windows user. You do not need to install Python separately.

Using the portable ZIP instead?

Extract the entire ZIP to a folder you control. Keep TruckSimHubTracker.exe, _internal, and the other included files together, then open the EXE. Running it from inside the ZIP will not work correctly.

Connect your driver

  1. Sign in on this Hub with the Steam account you want to track under. Finish choosing your driver name if this is your first visit.
  2. On Connect tracker, choose Generate pairing code.
  3. In the desktop tracker, open Connection. For a new connection, set Hub address to https://trucksimhub.net.
  4. Paste the code into One-time pairing code and choose Pair with my driver.

Codes expire after 10 minutes and work once. Generating a new code replaces any unused one. Keep your code private; enter your Steam password only on Steam, never in the tracker.

Already paired? Keep your working connection. Existing connections and pending uploads stay with their saved Hub address.

Connect your games

  1. Close ATS and ETS2, then open Game setup in the tracker.
  2. Select your detected game and choose Install for selected game. Repeat for the other game if you play both.
  3. If the game is missing, choose Scan Steam libraries again or Choose folder…. Select the game's installation folder, containing bin\win_x64; this is not the save folder in Documents.
  4. Start the game, accept its SDK/telemetry notice if shown, and load your profile into the game world.

The included plugin lets the tracker read your drive. You only need to install it once per game, unless the game installation changes.

A plugin is already installed, or copying fails

An identical compatible plugin is reused. If a different scs-telemetry.dll is found, the tracker leaves it untouched. Keep a backup and check which other tools use it before replacing it.

If the folder is protected, close the game and check folder permissions. You can manually copy plugins\scs-telemetry.dll from the tracker installation into the game's bin\win_x64\plugins folder. Do not replace another tool's plugin without checking compatibility.

Track your first delivery

  1. On the desktop app's Drive page, choose Start tracking before picking up your next job.
  2. Load into ATS or ETS2. Live speed, fuel, truck and cargo information should appear as the game reports it.
  3. Drive and complete the delivery in the game. Leave tracking running while the completion uploads.
  4. Check Deliveries in the desktop app and the Hub's Delivery log.

The desktop app shows this PC's 20 most recent recorded jobs. The website holds your uploaded delivery history. Jobs driven before tracking started are not imported.

Closing the window keeps the tracker in the system tray by default. Double-click its tray icon to reopen it, or right-click and choose Quit tracker to exit. Change this preference under Connection.

Internet dropped? Pending events are kept for up to seven days. Restore the connection and keep Start tracking active to retry uploads. Do not delete the tracker data folder or change accounts while troubleshooting pending deliveries.

Set up your overlay

  1. Set your game's display mode to borderless or windowed. Exclusive fullscreen is not supported.
  2. Open Overlay in the tracker and enable Show overlay when my game is in the foreground.
  3. Choose Preview and position overlay, drag it where you want it, and adjust the size and opacity.
  4. Choose Lock overlay position before driving.

While driving, the overlay lets clicks pass through to the game. It hides when you switch apps or lose live telemetry. Preview uses labeled sample data and does not record deliveries. If another app uses a shortcut, use the tracker’s Overlay controls.

Troubleshooting

Waiting for ATS / ETS2 or a loaded game profile

Check that you installed the plugin into the correct game's installation, restarted the game afterward, and loaded into the game world. Check the Game setup page and choose Start tracking. A game menu alone is not an active drive.

My pairing code is rejected or my access was revoked

Check the Hub address and your signed-in driver. Generate a fresh code and pair within 10 minutes. A disconnected device must pair again. If your Hub account is suspended, contact the Hub owner before trying again.

My delivery is missing or marked Interrupted

Check both the desktop Deliveries page and the website while signed in as the same driver. Keep tracking active with an internet connection to send pending events. Confirm you started tracking before the job and left it running through the delivery screen. If the game stops without reporting completion, a job can be marked Interrupted; the tracker cannot invent a completed delivery or its earnings.

The overlay is missing or off-screen

Use borderless/windowed mode, enable the overlay, and keep the game in the foreground with live telemetry. Use Preview and position overlay to check it, or Reset position after a monitor change. Lock it when finished.

Uploads stop after a clock warning

Check Windows date, time and time zone, then use Windows' time synchronization. Start tracking again after the clock is correct.

Antivirus blocks the download or app

The current release is unsigned. A publisher/reputation warning and an antivirus malware detection require different reviews. Keep your antivirus enabled and do not restore a quarantined file just to run it.

Send the Hub owner the antivirus name, exact detection or warning, tracker version, and whether it flags the Setup EXE, the app EXE, or scs-telemetry.dll. A screenshot of the warning is useful. Keep pairing codes, account tokens and other private details out of it.

The owner can investigate the exact file and request a review from the antivirus vendor. Signing verifies the publisher and file integrity; it cannot promise that every antivirus will accept a file.

YOUR CONNECTION STAYS WITH YOU

Updates & uninstall

Before updating, quit the tracker from its tray menu, then run the new installer. Your pairing, preferences, local history and pending uploads are kept. Automatic tracking on app launch is optional under Connection; it does not start the app when Windows signs in.

Uninstall through Windows Installed apps or the Truck Sim Hub Start menu folder. Uninstall keeps your data and game telemetry plugins. To revoke a tracker's access to your Hub account, use Disconnect under Your connected trackers.

Local data lives in %LOCALAPPDATA%\TruckSimHubTracker. Keep this folder while uploads are pending. It contains account connection data: do not share it publicly.

The tracker sends driving telemetry, delivery details and in-game earnings. It does not upload your saves, mods or screen recordings.

KNOW WHAT YOU DOWNLOADED

Check your download

Download the installer from this Hub's Connect tracker page. The published SHA-256 checksums let you compare your file with this release.

In PowerShell, run the following in the folder containing your downloaded installer:

Compare the entire hash with the matching filename in the checksums file. A matching hash confirms that the files match; it is not an antivirus clearance or publisher signature.
